More Info At 15 I began to play guitar and that’s where my studies really began. I studied with Colin Shapiro, Kim Harris, Dave Hewitt, Charl Lamprecht, Jonathan Crossley, Tony Russel (Jazz Guitar) & James Smyth ( Flute for 7 years ) and I have participated in master classes with Fritz Buss, Stefan Rak, Aldo Lagrutta, Abri Jordaan. I teach classical guitar from home in Glenvista, times and rates on request. I have performed at various venues around the country. These include JHB Botanical Gardens, Emmarentia, Restaurants, Shopping centres, Irene flea market,  Garden World, Various charity functions for Cotlands, Rotary, SPCA, Guide Dogs, Gardens of the Golden City – including Brenthurst (The Oppenheimer Estate), Hotel School – UJ, Auckland Park and I am also a regular performer at TJ’s Acoustic Music Club, Marks Park. My play list - repertoire consists of well-known classical pieces as well as popular songs by the Beatles, Andrew Lloyd Webber etcetera, all arranged for the classical guitar.  I also play some blues, jazz, flamenco, Latin American and romantic songs from the past. I use handmade guitars by Marc Maingard and Mervyn Davis. JoyDogs Sue also runs another business with the famous Old English sheepdogs who work for a paint company.
